Bob Bonniol provides Creative Direction to Chevrolet's Global Auto Shows in 2016

MODE Studios Director Bob Bonniol was tapped by Jack Morton Worldwide to provide Creative Direction for Chevrolet in their Global Auto Shows in 2016.  Bob worked closely with JMW, Czarnowski, Moment Factory, The Ant Farm, Leviathan, Arsenal, Switch Post and Light Source to create immersive environments for Chevrolet in Detroit, Geneva, Beijing, New York, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Delhi.  We are thrilled to work with the whole team from GM/Chevrolet !

MODE provided a complete video package to one of our favorite collaborators,Tom Sturge for his Production Design for T Mobile.  Projection, playback, and personnel brought sweet pink pixels to life in this mission critical event for T Mobile.  Many thanks to MODE'sters Brandon Oosterhof and Travis Mouffe for making it look easy and delivering success...

MODE Studios principal bob bonniol serves as creative director for chevrolet at the 2015 naias

MODE Studios Creative Director Bob Bonniol directed the environmental/interactive design of Chevrolet’s sprawling booth at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.  Using a vast array of video technology, and a stunning suite of content, the booth got rave reviews.  Associate Creative Director Butch Allen and Content Management Artist Kerstin Hovland rounded out the onsite crew that took charge of integrating immersive video, audio, and lighting.  MODE worked closely with The Ant Farm, Arsenal FX, Mindfield, and Switch Post to develop the recurring 40 minute show.  Many thanks to Jack Morton Worldwide and General Motors for entrusting us with such a fantastic creative task !

mode studios vj's the edm stage at budweiser's made in america festival los angeles

MODE was thrilled to provide Video design and VJ services for the Made In America Festival in Los Angeles.  MODE’ster Travis Mouffe handled onsite video slinging to a radically cool arrangement of pixel mapped lighting fixtures and groovy screen technology all provided by our friends at VER.  With system design by Jason Rudolph, we killed it for three straight days at the MIA EDM stage !

mode principal bob bonniol is screens producer for america's got talent live at the planet hollywood axis theater

MODE Studios once again provided system and content for America’s Got Talent Live 2014 at the Axis Theater in the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Casino.  We whipped up a fun and flexible system of distributed pixel scenic panels, coupled with a high resolution screen.  Control and playback had to accommodate moving fast and furious, so we deployed a Resolume Arena serving system, as well as Black Magic ATEM switching to put all options right at our fingertips.  7 Wonders partners Butch Allen and Bob Bonniol put it all together to bring lighting, video, and scenic quickly into a winning combo to best show off this season’s top talent.  Special thanks to the consummate Benny Kirkham, Brandon Oosterhof, and our friends at Screenworks.

mode studios designs video and interactivity to for long time client activision at e3

2014 was another award winning year for our work at Activision/Blizzard’s E3 booth.  MODE Studios worked closely with some of our favorite peeps at NCompass, Antfarm, RKE, and VER to bring maximum WOW to the gaming eyeballs.   MODE piled on the pixels, once again creating the largest video display at E3.  Add dramatic lighting by our partner Butch Allen, system design by Jason Rudolph & Bob Bonniol, and dazzling shock and awe from Creative Director Ray Woodbury.

mode creative director bob bonniol designs the video and interactivity for the blockbuster marvel universe live tour & mode provides one of the biggest touring video systems to roll this year...

MODE Studios provided the mammoth touring video package for Marvel Universe Live !  With a system and content design by Bob Bonniol, Marvel Universe Live uses twenty seven Barco HDF-W26 projectors to map a full arena set.  The front end utilizes eleven d3 technologies 4RU servers, more than thirty Barco Image Pro II units, Miranda multiviewing, Black Magic Designs Smart Hub video routers, and Cobalt Digital openframe fiber transmitters, HD-SDI distribution amps, and Brainstorm timecode distribution.  Chief System Architect/Engineer Jason Rudolph assembled all and sundry into a stunning, well built touring package.  MODE went on to provide a render farm, and content management workstations and storage for the production’s techical reharsals.

mode creative gurus butch allen, pablo molina, and bob bonniol shred eyeballs for paramore

7 Wonders Designers Butch Allen, Bob Bonniol, and Pablo Molina teamed up with Bruce Rodgers and the phreaks at Tribe Designs to create a hard hitting show for Paramore.  Butch and Bruce worked to shape a fractured space full of LED, light, and levels.  Paramore is nothing if not LIVE, but this thumping rock band wanted two things from video:  Raw and primitive looking IMAG, coupled with content as tightly cued as if it were running to timecode.  Bob and Pablo, working with the MODE Studios team, designed a system of 24 lipstick cameras, coded a custom media server, and created a suite of procedural music driven content code that sampled from 16 tracks of live input to create content looks on the spot and totally interactively.  The result had fans shrieking with delight across the globe…

MODE Studios was pleased to provide the video system design and integration for the huge video mapped production envisioned by Director Raj Kapoor and Production Designer Michael Cotten.  Utilizing sixteen projectors, and the massive LED wall (with a bit extra provided by our friends at PRG), the system maps an amazing set created by Michael Cotten with gorgeous graphics created by Raj Kapoor, Allucinari, and by 7 Wonders designer Bob Bonniol.  Shania’s Still The One is running now in repertory at Caesar’s Palace Coliseum.

MODE Studios rolled out the system and content design for the new Kid’s Cavern video facade in the Sands Macau.  Working with some of our absolute favorite collaborators, Dillonworks, NYX Design, Chaos Visuals, and Callison Architecture, we designed the 250 meter long wall with a vast array of Galaxia LED pucks.  Then 7 Wonders designers Abbey Rosen Holmes, Manny Treeson, and Bob Bonniol created five eye popping half hour content extravaganzas to light the wall up and bring the kids running…

MODE Studios is thrilled to be refreshing the interactive installations at Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond.  MODE has created brand new custom code to add to their MODE Matrix interactive installations.  New custom MODE Matrix machines have been installed, and the rollout is now online, celebrating the countdown to the release of XBox ONE!
