MODE Studios provided the mammoth touring package for Marvel Universe LIVE! 

With a system and content design by Bob Bonniol, Marvel Universe LIVE! uses 27 Barco HDF-W26 projectors to map the full arena set. The front end utilizes 11 d3 Technologies 4RU servers, more than 30 Barco Image Pro II unitsMiranda multi-viewing, Black Magic Designs Smart Hub video routers, and Cobalt Digital open frame fiber transmittersHD-SDI distribution amps, and Brainstorm timecode distribution.

Chief System Architect/Engineer Jason Rudolph assembled all and sundry into a stunning, well-built touring package. MODE Studios provided a render farm, and content management workstations and storage for the production's technical rehearsals.

Working closely with Marvel and The Ant Farm, Bob Bonniol Designed and Produced the full arena scenic mapping content.  With the content being so integral, Bob was named to the project immediately after Director Shonda Sawyer.  Together they collaborated with Production Designer Joe Stewart to create a transformative and completely mappable arena action set.  In addition to being purely scenic, the video content also accomplished many of the combat effects in the show, from Iron Man's repulsors, to Loki's magical effects.  Working closely with d3 Technologies and Cast BlackTrax, MODE Designer Pablo Molina and Bob created a custom content tracking system allowing for these effects to be accurately mapped to characters moving around on foot, by wire, and on motorcycles !
